The Winery is located in the beautiful Morgan Hill valley with gorgeous views of the foothills. Built in 1913, the winery is one of the oldest wineries in Santa Clara County. In 1996, a fire destroyed the old Tasting Room & Gift Shop and a portion of the facilities used for wine storage. A beautiful new Tasting Room & Gift Shop emerged from the flames-La Fenice (the phoenix) Tasting Room & Gift Gallery. A portion of the original building still stands where large storage tanks hold 270,000 gallons of wine for ageing. |

For weddings, the garden patio has a lovely romantic spot under the olive tree for you to exchange your vows. The patio boasts a large wooden shade covered pergola entwined with 40 year old grapevines. The pergola is painted white for a neutral background for you to personalize with your color scheme. Chairs can be set up in rows for up to 250 guests to witness your ceremony. The garden patio also provides an intimate setting for photographs, with a velvety green lawn, blooming flowers, and fragrant shrubs of jasmine and oleanders that entwine over an arbor archway.

The La Fenice Tasting Room & Gift Gallery is an elegant place for your guests to relax, with its Italian-Mediterranean architecture featuring gold and terra cotta walls, tiled floors, and redwood wine bars for tasting our fine wines. The Gift Gallery specializes in tapestries, hand painted glassware and wine glasses, Italian pottery, clocks, wrought-iron wine racks, handmade candles and other wine related items. The brides dressing room, located above the tasting room, is decorated with soft cream-colored shear curtains, flowers and tapestries. There is seating, a make-up area, a full-length mirror and a screen that provides the bridal party privacy to prepare for the ascent down the stairs and then down the aisle. For your reception, the Black & White Ballroom provides ample space for dinner and dancing. With its lovely checkerboard black and white tiled floor, cream-colored drapes and ambient lighting, it provides the perfect backdrop for your special touches. The winery has a very flexible policy concerning caterers of your choice, and can do custom labels for any of their vintage wines. The entire property is handicapped-accessible and easy to get to-just off highway 101.
